Clinical experience
Rose’s experience spans more than eight years of NHS and private practice, across acute care, musculoskeletal, post-operative, neurological and community rehabilitation.
In emergency care and complex presentations, assessment means understanding how illness, mobility, cognition and circumstances interact. Her NHS work includes functional assessment, rehabilitation and multidisciplinary discharge planning for adults with complex needs.
That experience informs her independent practice: looking beyond an isolated symptom, identifying what affects recovery and translating assessment into a practical rehabilitation plan.

Understand the clinical picture.
Make recovery relevant to the person.
Her postgraduate foundation in exercise physiology informs the relationship between physical capacity, adaptation and recovery. Clinical decisions bring this together with symptoms, function, medical history and the person’s priorities.
Establish what is limiting function, consider the wider health context and explain the reasoning behind the next step.
Shape rehabilitation around meaningful activities, adjusting exercise and movement work as capacity, symptoms and circumstances change.
Practice framework
A five-part framework developed by Rose to structure movement work through postural awareness, breathing and integration into everyday activity. Its application is guided by individual assessment and rehabilitation goals.
